“I believe it is voice that normalizes the language, and I want what I write, philosophical or not, to be readable by everybody. That’s really where I struggle and it’s something I keep in the back of my mind when I’m writing. There are people who have said to me, ‘Oh, philosophy, I tried that’, I want anyone to pick up what I’m writing and be able to read it and not be afraid.”
