“I think the most interesting writing projects I’ve ever worked on are always ones where I have to write a biography of myself, because then you have to think about ‘okay, what did I do, how long have I been doing this?’ I was writing a short bio about myself earlier today and I realized that I’ve been teaching private music lessons for 15 years, and I was like ‘man, that’s half my life!’ Writing things like that just really makes me reflect on where I am, where I come from, and hopefully make a plan for where I’m going.”
