“My favorite kind of writing is just free-writing where you don’t have any restraints and you can just express yourself. When you’re writing, just flush everything in your head on paper no matter how it sounds or how it looks and then worry about organization and formatting while you’re editing. A lot of people can be brilliant or really smart but if you can’t write, you can’t portray intelligence, you can’t express those ideas, so just write.”
