“To be an effective writer you need to expose yourself to new mediums because you can learn a lot from other people’s work. Over the summer I spent a lot of time experiencing other people’s work and what they did and how they would create good stories and good characters. In my film course, I’m watching movies from all around the world, learning about other styles of storytelling and different types of stories that are being told. So learning from other people’s work is really good.”
