…it was one of my first papers at GMU, and it was strictly an opinion-based paper and I was told that my opinion was wrong. I think most writers can commiserate with that experience because you feel like you did the right thing; you felt like you wrote your opinion down and you felt like it couldn’t be wrong, but it was. But, mostly, I don’t consider any feedback ‘bad.’ I thrive on it, I fix it, and again, I pander. So I love bad feedback because that means I can fix it and tailor it to the reader.”
