“Get a good editor; get someone else to read over your paper. I don’t think I did that enough in my early librarian years. I should have had people look over a proposal I had worked on that ultimately was rejected. Just get feedback. And I would say for me right now, be open to collaborative writing. I think that some of the best work can be done with just the right combination of people.”
