“Over the years, I thought I hated research writing. One of the reasons that I didn’t want to do like a PhD, Doctorate school or anything is because there’s so much research. But [now], I enjoy being able to find what it is that I don’t know and then practically understand it and be able to turn that into my own words and write about it. Just to know that, like, “Oh! I actually enjoy this, this is my interest.” [It’s] something I didn’t know and a year later, I’m not an expert, but I am able to understand it enough to turn it into my own words and rewrite it out.”
